Les Belles déHospitalite

The Brookhaven Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce announces the Les Belles déHospitalite for 2013-2014 school year. All of the young women are ninth-grade students at their respective schools.

Les Belles assist the chamber with a variety of projects, such as Christmas Open House and the Christmas Parade.

Takia J. Brooks is the daughter of Sean and Shonda Williams. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a Mississippi Rising Scholar, a member of the National Junior Honor Society and Duke TIPS program student.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll, Exchange Club Student of the Month, Highest Average in Science, ACT score of 21 (eighth grade), scored advanced in state testing and Most Improved Algebra.

She is a cheerleader.

She is a member of Emerging Young Leaders and Beautiful Amazing Girls Succeeding (BAGS).

Tia Bussey

Tia Muntanna Bussey is the daughter of Andre and Rhonda Bussey Spiller and Toney and Tinikki Bussey. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, freshman Student Council representative, JROTC and QUEST.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B Honor Rolls, Mississippi Rising Scholar, National Junior Honor Society, 2013 freshman homecoming maid, Alexander Junior High Belle and band, Duke TIP participant and Bagley College of Engineering participant.

Bussey’s athletic participation includes Lady Panther slow- and fast-pitch softball, junior varsity cheerleader, competitive cheer squad and girls’ basketball manager.

She is a member of St. Paul M.B. Church where she is active in youth ministry and the praise and worship dance team. She is a member of the Lincoln County 4-H Club, Southern Lightning fast-pitch summer tournament team, Tri-County Gym Stars competitive gymnastics team, Emerging Young Leaders and Beautiful Amazing Girls.

Alexis Byrd

Alexis Renee “Sissy” Byrd is the daughter of Kevin and Carla Byrd. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the Science Club, Positive Choices Club and Historical Society Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include National Junior Honor Society and Mississippi Rising Scholar.

Byrd’s athletic participation includes junior high cheerleader and junior high basketball.

She is a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist youth group, volunteers with Vacation Bible School, Showstopper competitive dancer, piano student of Tish Russell and attends cheer classes at the Gym of Dreams.

Madeline Carter

Madeline Kathleen Carter is the daughter of Jamie Carter. She is a student at Enterprise Attendance Center where she is a member of the Junior Beta Club, Senior Beta Club, First Priority and Robotics Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include A Honor Roll, sixth-grade Student of the Month, Student of the Quarter in seventh and eighth grade, first place reading fair award for story board, where she also placed third in district, Perfect Attendance in first through fourth grade, Citizenship Award in second and sixth grades, Excellence Awards in math and reading, High A’s in math and reading in all grades and Eighth-grade Highest A in Pre-algebra.

Carter’s athletic participation includes tennis; pee-wee, junior high and high school cheerleader; and Eighth-grade Most Improved in tennis.

She is a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she is also a member of the youth group and has participated in Bible Drills. She is also a member of the USTA Tennis team.

Madeline Chance

Madeline Elizabeth Chance is the daughter of John and Dixie Chance. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a Diamond Girl and a member of the National Junior Honor Society.

Her academic achievements and honors include A Honor Roll, Presidential awards, Mississippi Rising Scholar and Lipsey Student Council secretary in sixth grade.

Chance’s athletic participation includes dancer at Showstoppers for 12 years with five years as a competitive dancer.

She is a member of Faith Presbyterian youth group.

Missy Clanton

Missy Noel Clanton is the daughter of Bruce and Stacy Clanton. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the Positive Choices Club, Science Club, Book Club and First Priority.

Her academic achievements and honors include Principal’s List honor roll, Student of the Month, National Junior Honor Society, 2012 District Science Fair winner, ABC testing participant, 2011 Junior Scholar. She also received the BA Community Service Award.

She participates in cheer and tennis.

Clanton is a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she is also a member of the youth group.

Kara Clark

Kara Leigh Clark is the daughter of Albert and Shanna Clark. She is a student at West Lincoln Attendance Center where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll and being selected to the Mississippi All-State Tennis Team.

She has played on the varsity tennis team since seventh grade.

She is a member of Johnson Grove Church of Christ. She is a volunteer with Quick Start Tennis program.

Katy Clark

Katy Marie Clark is the daughter of Albert and Shanna Clark. She is a student at West Lincoln Attendance Center where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll, 2012 homecoming maid and being selected to the Mississippi All-State Tennis Team.

She has played on the varsity tennis team since seventh grade.

She is a member of Johnson Grove Church of Christ. She is a volunteer with Quick Start Tennis program.

Anna Covington

Anna Grace Covington is the daughter of Gary and Lisa Covington. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the Positive Choices Club and Science Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B Honor Roll and being selected Softball Rookie of the Year in 2012.

She plays fast-pitch softball and is a member of the basketball team.

She is a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church youth group.

Cristina Craig

Cristina Marie Craig is the daughter of Jim and Celine Craig. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll, National Junior Honor Society, Scholastic Award, Most Valuable Player in junior varsity soccer, Most Improved in cross country, as well as academic awards.

She plays varsity soccer and participates on the varsity cross-country team.

She is a member of St. Francis of Assisi youth group where she is also a member of the youth choir.

Meredith Cruthirds

Meredith Kate Cruthirds is the daughter of Kelly and Curt Cruthirds. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a member of the Diamond Dolls.

Her academic achievements and honors include being selected office aide at Alexander Junior High where she was also active in the band.

Cruthirds athletic participation includes softball at Brookhaven Recreation Department.

She attends First Baptist Church where she is active in Rock Solid and volunteers with Vacation Bible School.

Anna Davis

Anna Brooke Davis is the daughter of Brandon and Stephanie Jordan. She is a student at West Lincoln Attendance Center where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B Honor Roll and selected as freshman maid in the 2013 homecoming court.

Davis’ athletic participation includes Lady Bears’ softball and basketball teams.

She is an active member of Adams United Methodist Church youth group. She also participates in fast-pitch tournament ball during the summer.

Mary Donegan

Mary Sullivan Donegan is the daughter of Ron and Sharyl Donegan. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a member of the Forensics Team, baseball stat girl and cheerleader.

Her academic achievements and honors include National Junior Honor Society, All A Honor Roll, Mississippi Rising Scholar, Duke TIP Award, selected Miss Alexander Junior High 2012-2013 and Eighth-grade Quest Award.

Donegan’s athletic participation includes cheerleader.

She is a member of First United Methodist Church youth group where she is a junior high youth representative. She is also a cheerleader for the Mississippi Gym of Dreams.

Sara Doty

Sara Jane Doty is the daughter of Tim and Teresa Allred. She is a student at West Lincoln Attendance Center where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B Honor Roll.

Doty’s athletic participation includes fast-pitch softball and basketball.

She is a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church youth group and Hope Ministries Mission group.

Abigail Douglas

Abigail Leigh Douglas is the daughter of John and Heather Douglas. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a member of the Ole Brook Singers. She is a former member of Lipsey’s Lamplighter School Ambassadors and Alexander Junior High’s Sound of Success.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll, National Junior Honor Society, Mississippi Rising Scholar, AJH Eighth-grade Highest History Award, Nena Smith School of Dance Hall of Fame and Perfect Attendance Award, Crystal Gooch Dance Scholarship, AJH Most School Spirit, 2012 Lincoln County Wildlife Expo Archery Junior Division winner and 2013 Hog Wild Archery youth division winner.

She participates in dance at Nena Smith School of Dance.

She is a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church youth group and youth choir, as well as Acteens. She is a pro-staff hunter with Nakster Nation Outdoors, a volunteer with Woods, Wheels and Waters Outdoors and a volunteer for M4, Macedonia’s outdoor ministry.

Laura Dunaway

Laura Leigh Dunaway is the daughter of Scott and Janet Dunaway. She is a student at West Lincoln Attendance Center where she is a member of the Beta Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll, 2013 Gold Keyboarding Award, eighth-grade class president, Student of the Month, Student of the Year and 2013 Best All-Around Cheerleader Award.

She is a cheerleader.

She is a member of Arlington Baptist Church where she is an active member of the youth group. She attends Showstoppers Studio of Dance and is a member of its competitive company.

Savanna Dunaway

Savanna Faith Dunaway is the daughter of Danny and Ginnie Dunaway. She is a student at Enterprise Attendance Center where she is a varsity cheerleader, a member of Future Business Leaders of America and First Priority.

Her academic achievements and honors include Student of the Quarter in seventh, eighth and ninth grade and All-American Cheerleader.

Dunaway’s athletic participation includes varsity cheerleader and a Senior Level 5 Eclipse Cheerleader at the Mississippi Gym of Dreams. She has been a competitive cheerleader and gymnast for 10 years.

She attends Fair River Baptist Church.

McKinley Evans

McKinley Kathlyn Evans is the daughter of Jerry and Sherylyn Evans. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the Positive Choices Club, Teenage Republicans, Science Club, Junior Historical Society, Red Ribbon committee and varsity boys baseball Diamond Girl.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll, Principal’s List, All A and B Honor Roll, National Junior Honor Society, freshman class vice president, Student of the Month and Community Service award in seventh and eighth grade.

Evans’ athletic participation includes Lady Cougar basketball and soccer; and varsity boys’ basketball stat girl and team manager.

She is a member of First Baptist Church where she is a Vacation Bible School volunteer and an Upward Basketball volunteer.

Shelby Flumm

Shelby Allen Flumm is the daughter of Gary and Tammy Flumm. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the Positive Choices Club, Science Club, Junior High Historical Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her academic achievements and honors include Academic Betterment Competition, honor roll, National Junior Honor Society, Mississippi Rising Scholar, class president, class secretary and second place for local and district science fairs.

Flumm’s athletic participation includes basketball, softball, tennis, cheerleading and track.

She is a member of Mount Olive Church of Christ.

Kaylie Foster

Kaylie Marie Foster is the daughter of Stacey and Tillie Foster. She is a student at Loyd Star Attendance Center where she is a member of the Hornet Band, First Priority and Beta Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll.

Foster’s athletic participation includes basketball.

She is a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she is active in Acteens, youth choir and drama.

Emily Goss

Emily Renee Goss is the daughter of Ken and Rita Goss. She is a student at West Lincoln Attendance Center where she is a member of Future Farmers of America.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll and A and B Honor Roll. She also placed second in the 2009 Jif Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest.

Goss’ athletic participation includes cross-country and archery.

She is a member of the Gum Grove Baptist Church youth. She has participated in Bible Drill for six years. She is also a member of the 4-H Hoof Beats Club.

Devan Hardin

Devan Alexis Hardin is the daughter of Patrick and Amy Hardin. She is a student at Enterprise Attendance Center where she is a member of Senior Beta Club, Robotics Club, Future Business Leaders of America and yearbook staff.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll, Highest Average awards, Student of the Year and Student of the Month.

She attends Bethel Temple Church. She also attended the FBLA Convention in Anaheim, Calif., over the summer.

Carly Holden

Carly Alana Holden is the daughter of Chris and Danyll Summerall. She is a student at West Lincoln Attendance Center where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her academic achievements and honors include Junior Beta member and current Beta Club member.

Holden’s athletic participation includes Lady Bears’ basketball, cross-country team and varsity cheerleader.

She is a third year Senior Level 5 competitive cheerleader with Mississippi Gym of Dreams.

Mackenzie Jackson

Mackenzie Claire Jackson is the daughter of Robbie and Dena Jackson. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, Forensics Team and Diamond Girl.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B Honor Roll, Mississippi Rising Scholar, seventh grade Mathematics Award, Duke TIP program participant, BHS Tennis team Sportsmanship Award, 2012 Math Award, selected as Alexander yearbook staff, AQHA Region 9 Champion, All-American Quarter Horse Congress multiple Top 10 Finalist, AQHA Novice World third place and multiple Dixie National Quarter Horse Show champion awards.

Jackson’s athletic participation includes BHS tennis and eight years of competitive horse riding.

She is a member of Heucks Retreat Baptist Church where she also volunteers for Vacation Bible School. She is also a member of the AQHA Association, the United States Tennis Association and the Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association.

Mary Jackson

Mary Parker Jackson is the daughter of Matt and Amy Jackson. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is ninth-grade representative and participated in the 2013 BHS Homecoming Production.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll, National Junior Honor Society, Mississippi Rising Scholar and Alexander Junior High Most Intelligent.

She plays Lady Panther fast-pitch softball, Southern Lightning fast-pitch softball, BHS junior varsity cheerleader and nominated for All-American Cheerleader.

She is a lifelong member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where she is a member of the youth group.

Anna Johnson

Anna Beth Johnson is the daughter of Brad Johnson and Tamara Keene. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a Diamond Doll.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B Honor Roll. She was nominated for All-American Cheerleader while attending cheer camp the summer of 2013.

Johnson’s athletic participation includes junior varsity cheerleading squad. She also volunteers at the yearly BHS Pee-wee Cheer Clinic.

She is Baptist.

Macey Lea

Macey Elise Lea is the daughter of Coney Lea and Bobbie Lea. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of First Priority Club, Positive Choices Club, Teenaged Republicans, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Science Club and Student Council representative.

Her academic achievements and honors include National Honor Society, Honor English, All A’s, Exchange Club Student of the Month in 2012, Eighth-grade Most Courteous, honor roll and selected president of First Priority.

Lea’s athletic participation includes tennis.

She is an active member of Easthaven Baptist Church youth, a member of Brookhaven Animal Rescue League and volunteers for Vacation Bible School.

Madison Martin

Madison Alexis Martin is the daughter of Jack and Jill Evans. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a Diamond Doll.

She attends Easthaven Baptist Church and is a member of Rock Solid at First Baptist Church.

Julianna Mills

Julianna Grace Mills is the daughter of Steve and Juli Mills. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, Hunting and Fishing club, Positive Choice club, First Priority and Science Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include LEAD Conference, ABC Math in seventh grade, ABC English in eighth grade, spelling bee participant in seventh grade, placing second place locally, first place in district and second in state at the 2013 Science Fair, Junior High Quiz Bowl and Copiah-Lincoln Math Tournament. She was selected Miss BA Junior High, Most Courteous, Most Dependable, Positive Choice secretary, seventh- and eighth-grade secretary, Junior High Honors Society vice president, seventh- and eighth-grade Class Favorite, Best Christian Character, BA Student of the Month, Exchange Club Student of the Month, freshman homecoming maid and president of the Junior High Honor Society in ninth grade.

Mills’ athletic participation includes seventh-grade cheerleader.

She is an active member of First Baptist Church youth group and has helped at Outreach Ministries and volunteered two summers for Vacation Bible School.

Lizzie Mooney

Elizabeth Harbour “Lizzie” Mooney is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Spencer Mooney. She is home educated.

She is a member of Christian Home Educators Connection and Lincoln County Teenage Republicans.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B student; Mississippi’s youth ambassador for “Dress A Girl Around the World,” an organization that provides dresses for girls in impoverished countries; she is also a member of Knit, Purl Love, an organization that collects warm scarves for an orphanage in Moldova.

Mooney’s athletic participation includes eight years as a classical ballet student and tennis.

She is a member of Faith Presbyterian Church where she is active in the youth group and volunteers for Vacation Bible School.

Hannah Moore

Hannah Ramsey Moore is the daughter of Steve and Sonya Moore. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a stat girl for the baseball team and a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Forensics Team.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll, National Junior Honor Society, Duke TIP award and Alexander Junior High Eighth-grade Who’s Who Friendliest.

Moore’s athletic participation includes BHS junior varsity cheerleader.

She is a member of the youth group at First Baptist Church, a Gym of Dreams competitive cheerleader, piano student for seven years and a member of the 2013 Ecuador Mission team.

Anna Narang

Anmol Rani “Anna” Narang is the daughter of Kanta Rani Narang and Hans Raj Narang. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, Positive Choices Club, Teenage Republicans, Science Club and History Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll – Principal’s List, Student of the Month April 2013 and Mississippi Rising Scholar.

Narang’s athletic participation includes cheer in seventh grade and soccer next season.

She attends church.

Pollyanna Patterson

Pollyanna Patterson is the daughter of Tammie Stegall and Kevin Patterson. She is a student at Loyd Star Attendance Center where she is a cheerleader and a member of the Beta Club and choir.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll, class secretary in eighth and ninth grade, seventh-grade class treasurer and freshman homecoming maid.

Patterson’s athletic participation includes high school cheerleader, basketball and volunteer coach for pee-wee cheerleaders.

She is a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she is active in the choir, Acteens and youth group.

Olivia Ross

Olivia Ann Ross is the daughter of Ronny and Elizabeth Ross. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the Positive Choices Club, Science Club, History Club, First Priority and National Junior Honor Society.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll, Principal’s List, Student of the Month, Mississippi Rising Scholar and Most Improved in golf.

Ross’ athletic participation includes golf.

She is a member of First Baptist Church where she is active in its youth programs. She has also taken piano lessons for five years and participates in the McComb Hymn Festival each year.

Erin Rushing

Erin Olivia Rushing is the daughter of Janis Rushing and Darrell Rushing. She is a student at West Lincoln Attendance Center where she is a member of Future Farmers of America, Beta Club and was seventh-grade class secretary.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll, Mississippi Rising Scholar, National Junior Honor Society, seventh-grade homecoming maid and a 2014 nominee for Envision’s Careers in Medicine.

She has been the manager of the Lady Bears’ basketball team since seventh grade.

She is an active member of John Grove Church of Christ’s youth group. She has participated in WorkCamp in Winona by painting homes for low-income and elderly families.

Sara Rushing

Sara Kathryn Rushing is the daughter of Richard and Paula Rushing. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, History Club, Service Club and Positive Choices Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include MAIS Academic Betterment Competition for English and Life Science; Headmaster’s List honor roll; Mississippi Rising Scholar; Exchange Club Student of the Month; and BA Student of the Month.

Rushing’s athletic participation includes the Showstoppers Studio of Dance competitive dance team.

She is a member of Faith Presbyterian Church where she is active with the youth group.

Anna K. Smith

Anna Katelyn Smith is the daughter of Heather and Jason Smith. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is statistician for the baseball team and a cheerleader.

Her academic achievements and honors include honor roll, Mississippi Rising Scholar and Eighth-Grade Class Favorite.

Smith’s athletic participation includes cheerleading and Mississippi Gym of Dreams competitive cheerleader.

She is an active member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Anna M. Smith

Anna Morgan Smith is the daughter of Jeremy and Angie Smith. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the Science Club, Hunting and Fishing Club and Positive Choices Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include National Junior Honor Society member, All A’s Honor Roll, Mississippi Rising Scholar, seventh-grade class treasurer, eighth-grade Most Beautiful, eighth-grade Who’s Who Most Energetic, 2013 Spring Fest Tumble Off champion and 2013 NCA All-American Cheer nominee.

Smith’s athletic participation includes junior high cheerleader.

She is a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and Sunday school class.

Harley Smith

Harley Nicole Smith is the daughter of Dustin and Leah Smith. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is president of the freshman class and a member of Positive Choices Club, First Priority, Science Club and Teenage Republicans.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B Honor Roll, National Junior High Honor Society and Student of the Month.

Smith’s athletic participation includes varsity soccer for three years and junior high cheerleader.

She is an active member of First Baptist Church.

MaKenzie Smith

MaKenzie Claire Smith is the daughter of Greg and Jeanie Smith. She is a student at Loyd Star Attendance Center where she is a member of the Beta Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B Honor Roll, freshman homecoming maid and Most Beautiful in the 2013 Loyd Star Beauty Pageant.

Smith’s athletic participation includes Lady Hornet fast-pitch softball.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she is active in the youth group.

Mica Stewart

Mica Bailey Stewart is the daughter of Dustin and Chasity Stewart. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Positive Choices Club and Science Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll, A and B Honor Roll, second place in science fair, first place in district science fair and qualified for State Science Fair at Mississippi State University. She was voted Most Sassiest in seventh grade.

Stewart’s athletic participation includes junior high cheerleader, Lady Cougar basketball, tennis and statistician for basketball.

She has participated in several Brookhaven Little Theatre productions, including portraying Allison in “Allison In Wonderland” and Veruca Salt in “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”

Alice Walker

Alice Anne Walker is the daughter of Dustin and Stacy Walker. She is a student at Brookhaven High School where she is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll, Mississippi Rising Scholar, Duke TIP participant, seventh-grade Most Involved, eighth-grade Most Courteous and Alexander Junior High Leadership Award.

Walker’s athletic participation includes BHS tennis, junior varsity cheer squad, captain of the JV cheer squad and BHS competition cheer squad.

She is a member of First Baptist Church where she is active in the youth group, a volunteer for Vacation Bible School and has participated in a mission trip to Casa De Fe, Shell Ecuador the summer of 2013. She also attended MS Super Summer Leadership Camp at Mississippi College the summer of 2013.

Alli Williams

Alli Williams is the daughter of Anne Williams. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the Science Club, Positive Choices Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She is a member of Easthaven Baptist Church’s youth group and Hazlehurst First Baptist Church.

She is a member of Easthaven Baptist Church’s youth group and Hazlehurst First Baptist Church.

Cassie Williams

Cassie Maude Williams is the daughter of Lester and Deborah Williams. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of the Science Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include National Junior Honor Society and Honors English.

Williams’ athletic participation includes cheerleader at BA.

She is a member of New Sight Baptist Church.

Olivia Wilson

Olivia Danielle Wilson is the daughter of Joey and Lee Wilson. She is a student at West Lincoln Attendance Center.

Her academic achievements and honors include A and B Honor Roll.

She attends Johnson Grove Church of Christ where she is active in the youth group. She is also a member of Ace Hunting Club.

Sophie Wilson

Sophie Love Wilson is the daughter of Jeff and Missy Wilson. She is a student at Brookhaven Academy where she is a member of Positive Choices Club, National Junior Honor Society, Hunting Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her academic achievements and honors include Writing Award, Perfect Attendance and Bible Award.

Wilson’s athletic participation includes basketball, soccer and track.

She is a competitive dancer and has participated in D-Now, summer camp and Rock Solid.

Courtney Wyant

Courtney Elizabeth Wyant is the daughter of Jaime Wyant and Pam Wyant. She is a student at Loyd Star Attendance Center where she was eighth-grade president of the Junior Beta Club, class officer in the seventh and eighth grade, ninth-grade class president, a member of high school Beta Club, ninth-grade student council representative, junior high choir member, high school choir, Loyd Star Ladies Ensemble and Robotics Club.

Her academic achievements and honors include All A Honor Roll since kindergarten, Student of the Year in sixth and seventh grade, Woodmen of America Award, Golf Scholastic Award, Woodmen of the World History Award in 2013 and won first place for story board in eighth grade reading fair.

Wyant’s athletic participation includes basketball, junior high cheerleader and golf.

She is an active member of the youth group at New Hope Methodist Church where she works with Vacation Bible School. She has volunteered for summer camp for Brookhaven Little Theatre. She also worked with Beautiful Feet Missions in Fort Worth, Texas, for the last two summers feeding the homeless.
