A reception is planned Saturday to honor a local photographer whose photography is on display at the local library.

Each month at the Lincoln County Public Library, library patrons are treated to different aspects of the arts: painting, drawing, pottery, etc. Hanging this month in the meeting room is the photography of Kellie Brady.

Born in Brookhaven to Beth and Bruce Brady Jr., Kellie graduated from Brookhaven Academy in 2008. She continued her education at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, graduating in 2010. Kellie moved to Starkville and attended Mississippi State University, graduating in 2013 with a degree in photography. Kellie continues to live in Starkville where she is currently employed in the accounting department of a local candle company.

Brady’s photography at the library is from her college years and is for sale.

A reception will be held in her honor Saturday, Dec. 21, from 10 until noon. The public is invited to attend.

Brady’s work will remain on display until the end of the month.
