The Bogue Chitto Bobcats captured two individual awards on the 2013 All-Region 4-1A Football Team. Quarterback Brock Roberts was chosen Offensive MVP and linebacker Jeremy Blackwell was named Defensive MVP.

In the other recognitions, Stringer quarterback Tevin Moore was selected as the Region MVP for the second year in a row. Benard White of Lumberton received the Most Valuable Lineman honors. Ishmael Blackmon of Natchez Cathedral was named Special Teams MVP and Stinger’s coaching staff received the Coaching Staff Of The Year honors.

The coaches from the Region 4-1A classification gather together and voted on the players selected.

Roberts, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound senior, passed for 1,703 yards and rushed for 1,096 yards for a total of 28 touchdowns this season.

Jeremy Blackwell (6-2, 280, sr.) was credited with 167 tackles, including 42 solo stops.
