Funeral services for Eloyce “Ma-Ma” Holloway Byrd of Bude are 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Bude with burial in Meadville/New Fork Cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 from 2 until 5 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude. A wake service is Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude. Viewing at Sweet Home Baptist Church will be Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Elder Joseph Washington will be officiating.

Mrs. Byrd, 78, died Jan. 20, 2014, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville. She was born on May 22, 1935, to LaSalle William Holloway and Carrie Webster Holloway.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Evelyn Marshall; sister, Corrine Williams; brothers, Alphonse Holloway, Ben Holloway, Willie Holloway and Charles Adams.

Survivors are her husband, Al Jessie Byrd; daughter, Linda Washington and husband, Joseph; sons, James Griffith, Thomas Griffith and wife, Patsy, and John Griffith; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
