Funeral services for Hardy Thrasher Sr. of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Beulah Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Carver Heights Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, from 1 until 7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary. A wake/family hour will be Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Thrasher, 88, died Jan. 20, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. He was born in Copiah County on April 12, 1925, to Hardy Thrasher and Mary Linson Thrasher.
