Lady Bulldogs blank West Marion

MEADVILLE – The Franklin County Lady Bulldogs relied on the strong arm of Harley McKay as she struck out seven batters for a 11-0 shutout win over West Marion at Shortstop Fields.

The Lady Bulldogs got a 15-hit attack from its high-octane offense, as Alyssa Case led all batters with a triple, three singles and five RBI’s. Case went 4-for-4 at the plate.

Hayle McKinney added a double and two singles, while Macy Ziskin finished with a triple and a single. Both had two RBI’s.

McKay pitched the win, allowing only two walks.

The Lady Bulldogs, coached by Dana and Mickey Smith, travel to Tylertown tonight for a 6:00 contest.
