SEMINARY – Trailing 4-2 going into the seventh inning, the Franklin County Lady Bulldogs scored four runs to collect a 6-4 win over Seminary in the second round of the Class 3A State Playoffs.

Game 2 of the series takes place today at 5:30 in Meadville. Game 3 will follow if possible.

Harley McKay collected the win for the Lady Bulldogs on the mound by striking out three.

At the plate Shelby Smith led all batters with a triple and a single. Jamecia Starks and Krislyn Kent added two singles.

FCHS struggled to plate runs until the 7th, when it exploded for four runs to collect the win.
