Funeral services for Rose Lee Harvey of Ruth are 11 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014, at Ruth Baptist Church with burial in Ruth Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday, May 4, 2014, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home and again at 10 a.m. until time of service at Ruth Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harvey, died Friday, May 2, 2014, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello. She was born to James S. Lambert and Wadie Ballard Lambert.

Mrs. Harvey enjoyed gardening, cooking, and having her family and friends over to share in meals and fellowship.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Joe Allen King, Autie Walker, and Jerald Harvey; sons, James King, Charles Walker, and Gail Walker; daughter, Elaine Thames; grandsons, Larry Thames, Malcolm Gary Walker; sisters, Dollie Creal, Janie McNease, Louise Deer, Juanita Hall Wilson; brothers, Frank Lambert and Chesterfield Lambert.

Survivors are her sons, Malcolm Walker and wife, Sylvia, of Ruth, Jerald Walker and wife, Kathy, of Ruth; 18 great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers include Chopper Walker, Austin Walker, Timothy Walker, William Thornhill, Jamie Walker and Matthew Walker.
