Banquet honors Enterprise athletes

The Enterprise faculty and coaches honored their varsity athletes with an athletic banquet to recognize the football, basketball, softball, baseball, cheerleader, dance, tennis, golf and archery teams.

Enterprise Booster Club president John Paul Holmes welcomed the crowd to the banquet that was held in the Enterprise’s new gymnasium.

Holmes concluded the awards ceremony by recognizing three seniors as winners of the Maroon, Gold and Yellow Jacket scholarships. Skylar Dahlin received the $500 Gold Award. Shane Jordan was honored with the $500 Maroon Award. James King received the $1,000 Yellow Jacket Award.

Cass Brister, filling in for Enterprise Principal Shannon Eubanks, announced the nominees of the Lindy Callahan Award: Ashley Boyd and Jackson Cole.

Coaches from each sport recognized their team’s achievements during the year and players were given awards to signify their hard work.

Kinsey Dahlin received the Most Valuable Player award in softball. John Gray received the overall Most Valuable Player award in boys’ basketball. Alissa Barlow received Most Valuable Defensive player honors and Kristen Jergins earned the Most Valuable Offensive player award in girls’ basketball.

John Gray got the Most Valuable Male Golfer. Addison Bessonette received the Most Valuable Female Golfer.

Shane Jordan was honored with the Top Male Shooter. Nastacia Davis received the Top Female Shooter.

Christi Waldrop was selected as the Most Valuable Female Player in tennis. Noah McKone was the Most Valuable Male Players in tennis.

Jake Case received Most Valuable Defensive Player Award in football. Jackson Cole was selected the Most Valuable Offensive Player in football. Tristan Cantrell received honors as the Most Valuable Special Team Player.

In baseball, Hunter Richardson claimed the Most Valuable Offensive Player award. Max Miller earned the Most Valuable Defensive Player award. Jackson Cole was the Most Valuable Pitcher.

Seniors in each sport were recognized with awards for their effort and the juniors received their letterman jackets.
