A Brookhaven man died in a one-vehicle traffic accident that occurred within Lake Lincoln State Park Saturday afternoon.

Henry Allan Ainsworth, 49, of Brookhaven, lost control of the 2007 GMC pickup he was driving and ran off the road and hit a tree in the park, according to Lincoln County Sheriff Steve Rushing.

Ainsworth was pronounced dead in the King’s Daughters Medical Center emergency room at 3:12 p.m. Saturday, Lincoln County Coroner Clay McMorris said.
