People don’t like to be sold, but they love to buy!” So says best-selling, award-winning author, creative writer and speaker Jeffrey Gitomer, who was the keynote speaker at the semi-annual conference of the Independent Jewelers Organization held recently in San Antonio, Texas. Gitomer has authored nine books, all of which have appeared on major best-seller lists nationwide more than 750 times. His “Little Red Book of Selling” is credited as the number one sales book ever and is listed as one of the 100 best business books of all time.

Terry and Jane Leary of Smith Jewelry in Brookhaven were in attendance in San Antonio and found the speaker to be inspiring.
