For Houston Case and Gage Posey it was an experience like no other. The two Brookhaven natives won a game in the NJCAA Division Two World Series last week in Enid, Oklahoma

Both are freshmen pitchers on the Hinds Community College team. Mesa CC, Arizona captured the National Championship with a 9-7 win over Hinds in 11 innings Saturday night.

Both Posey and Case pitched in the National Championship game. Another Brookhaven native on the Hinds CC team in Andrew Culver made the trip despite being redshirted this season.
