Funeral Services for Linda Burris of St. Francisville Louisiana, are 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8 at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday, July 7, 2014, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Mrs. Burris, 67, died July 4, 2014, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She was born on Aug. 24, 1946, to Leonard and Opal Floyd.

She was a member of the Healing Place Church in St. Francisville and worked for the state of Louisiana at the Tourist Information and Welcome Center.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Kenney Burris; son, Jess Burris of St. Francisville; brother, John Arthur Floyd and wife Carolyn of Tony, Alabama; and two nephews, Darryl Burris and wife April, and Mike Nuckles. She is also survived by other family and friends.
