Mr. and Mrs. Nelson S. Crane, of Brookhaven, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Sierra Crane, to 2nd Lt. Ryan Bryce Froerer United States Air Force, of Huntsville, Utah.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bryce M. Froerer, of Huntsville, Utah.

She is the granddaughter of Eugene and Pauline Streeper, of Ucon, Idaho, and Oscar and Pat Crane, of Brookhaven. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Pearlie Crane, of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Marilyn Froerer and the late Robert E. Froerer, of Huntsville, Utah, and John Perry Slater and the late Marian Slater, of Ogden, Utah.

The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Brookhaven High School and is continuing her education at Mississippi State University, majoring in public relations communications.

The prospective groom is a 2013 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is currently training to be a pilot at Columbus Air Force base in Columbus.

The couple will be married on Aug. 2, 2014 in the Logan Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Logan, Utah. A reception will follow at the home of the groom’s parents.
