Funeral Services for Francis Murray of Bude are 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at Bude Baptist Church. Graveside service will follow in Midway Cemetery. The Revs. Harold Anderson and Greg Warnock will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. and will continue on Sunday, Aug. 3 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Mrs. Murray, 88, died July 31, 2014, at Country Brook Nursing Home. She was born on Jan. 5, 1928, in Bolivar County to Earnest and Gertrude Hill.

She was a supervisor at Movie Star in Bude and a seamstress at Kellwood in McComb. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bude. She was a loving mother and grandmother that loved her family, gardening, sewing and being with her church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Henry Murray; brother, Earnest Hill Jr.; sisters, Annie Murray and Geneva Barfield; son, Michael Murray of Wesson; and an infant daughter.

Survivors are her son, Glynn Murray and wife, Gloria, of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Lance Murray, Scott Murray, Jerry Murray and Stephen Murray; great-grandchildren, Logan Murray, Mattie Clair Murray, Javy Watts, Jace Watts, Jett Watts, Jenny Parker Murray, Riley Cooper Murray and Phillip Michael Murray; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
