Joseph P. Gatti Jr., of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Patricia Donald, of Brookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Brian Joseph Gatti, to LeeAnn Gail Hisey, of Albuquerque.

She is the daughter of John Lee and Marcia Anne Hisey.

She is the granddaughter of Rita Kay Sullivan, the late Robert Eugene Sullivan, of Albuquerque, the late Delillah Maetta Hisey and the late Vernon Eugene Hisey, of Albuquerque.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Gatti Sr., of Albuquerque, the late Charles E. Donald, of Port Gibson, and Jean Chipman, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Eldorado High School in Albuquerque. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from New Mexico State University in 2003 and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in literacy from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in July 2008. She is currently employed with Albuquerque Public School District as a fourth grade teacher and Starbucks as a part-time barista.

The prospective groom graduated from Eldorado High School and attended New Mexico State University. He is currently employed as a warehouse manager for Aero Mechanical and a custodial engineer for Environment Control of Bernaillo.

The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at Hyde Memorial Park Lodge. A reception will immediately follow.
