Lipsey’s 13th Annual Peewee Football League will kickoff Sept. 9. There will be six regular-season games, played on Tuesdays, on Brookhaven’s King Field.

Registration for Peewee football is schedule for Aug. 14 & 15.

League commissioner Buddy Thibodeaux said the Pewee League is open to fifth and sixth grade students at Lipsey Middle School, ages, 10-12. No player turning 13 before Dec. 1 is eligible for the league.

Every player must have a physical exam prior to registration for the league, plus proof of insurance. The registration fee is $50.

Entry deadline is Thursday for sixth graders, with registration from 6-8 p.m. in the cafeteria. Friday deadline is for the fifth graders.
