Funeral Services for Annette Dillon of Eddiceton are 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Eddiceton. The private graveside service will follow at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday, Aug. 22, 2014. The Rev. Al Young and the Rev. Lance Moak will officiate. Pallbearers are Tony Rasberry, Ronnie Wooten, Clint Rounsaville, Edward Shaverd, Mike Storey, Shane Arnold, Brandon Butler and Cody Butler. Honorary Pallbearers are Edgar Carter, Lawanna Cothern, Sandra Smith, Brenda Murray and Vanessa Shelton. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, from 5 until time of service at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

Mrs. Dillon, 55, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at her residence. She was born on Aug. 24, 1958, in Wilkinson County to Jacob and Myrtle Butler.

Mrs. Dillon attended Franklin County Schools and graduated from Adams County Christian School. She was a long time worker in the timber industry including Franklin Timber Company and Hardwoods of America. She loved singing, sewing, quilting, crocheting and crafting. She loved to share her talents with others.

Mrs. Dillon will always be remembered for her beautiful voice. She was a loving, mother, grandmother “Nana” and special friend to so many.

Preceding her in death were her father, Jacob Butler; and sister, Sherry Butler.

Survivors are her mother, Myrtle Butler; son, Matt Dillon (Kelly); sister, Connie Arnold; brother, Delton Butler; and grandchildren, Ian and Macy Dillon.
