Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kenneth Welch Jr., of Bogue Chitto, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Devon Welch, of Bogue Chitto, to Jeremy Winborne, of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Tim and Marsha Winborne, of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Boyd, of Bogue Chitto, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kenneth Welch Sr., of Bogue Chitto.

He is the grandson of the late Richard Nelson and Diane Hitchman, of Brookhaven, and Doris Winborne and the late George Winborne, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Bogue Chitto Attendance Center. She received a master’s degree from Mississippi State University.

The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Brookhaven Academy. He graduated from Mississippi State University where he received a degree in banking and finance. He is currently employed as First South Farm Credit.

The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Brookhaven. A reception will follow at Old Wesson School at 7 p.m.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
