In observance of Labor Day, The Daily Leader office will be closed Monday.

Other holiday closings on Monday include all area county and city offices and all area schools.

Also closed for the Independence Day holiday are the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Post Offices, and the Mississippi Highway Patrol Driver’s License Examiner’s Office.

Waste Pro will run its normal garbage pickup routes Monday, however.
