Funeral Services for Elizabeth Faye McCaffrey Moak of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with a graveside service following at Bethel Church Cemetery. Bro. Lance Moak, Bro. Huey Moak, Bro. Nicholas Jones and Bro. Andrew Mayhan will officiate. Pallbearers will be Shane Moak, Rusty Moak, Ricky Moak, Daniel Moak, David Moak, Jonathan Sasser and Benjamin Sasser. Brookhaven Funeral Service, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and will continue on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Moak, 79, died Oct. 2, 2014, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. She was born on Aug. 19, 1935, in Bogue Chitto to Teddy Lee and Daisy Welch McCaffrey.

She was a homemaker that loved to take care of her family and prayed for them daily. She was a Christian that loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was an active member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was active in mission organizations especially GA’s and WMU.

She served for over 20 years as a volunteer with the Pink Ladies Auxiliary of Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center of McComb, where she served as treasurer, vice-president, and was elected president in September 2014. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were parents; husband, Elder Ray “Bud” Moak; son, Ronnie Lee Moak; granddaughter, Catherine Moak; and brother-in-law, Dennis Moak and wife, Bette.

Survivors are her sons, Danny Moak and wife, Susan, of Wesson, Roger Moak and wife, Veronica of Bogue Chitto and Tony Moak and wife, Jennifer, of Brookhaven; daughter, Valerie Moak Jones and husband, Glyn, of Bogue Chitto; grandchildren, Lance Moak, Shane Moak and wife, Jana, Rusty Moak and wife, Emily, Jennifer Moak, Ricky Moak and wife, Melodi, Elizabeth Moak Adams and husband, Robert, Cindy Moak Estes and husband, Jonathan, Daniel Moak, David Moak, Sarah Moak, Tammy Peavey and husband, Vince, Karen Moak, Nicholas Jones and wife, Sam, and Amie Jones Landry; step-grandchildren, Matthew Rushing and Chris Rushing; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers-in-law, Delton Moak and wife, Dorothy, James Moak and wife, Sue and Delos Moak and wife, Geneva; sister-in-law, Malissia Sasser and husband, Bert; uncle, L.H. “Dub” McCaffrey and wife, Quida; and a host of relatives and friends.
