Funeral Services for Betty S. Bullock of McComb are 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at Catchings Funeral Home with burial in Barron-Bethany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Bullock, Random Bullock, Craig Wallace, Chris Wallace, David Rutland and Hayden Wallace. Bro. Philip Alford will officiate. Catchings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb and continues Tuesday, from 11 a.m. until services at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Bullock, 71, died Oct. 18, 2014, at her residence. She was born on Jan. 13, 1943, in Brookhaven to Laney Cecil Thames and Hazel Wilkinson Thames Brewer.

She was retired after having worked many years as a meat market associate at Piggly Wiggly in Summit and as a deli department associate at Wal-Mart in McComb.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Willie J. “Buddy” Bullock Jr.; a son-in-law, Dennis Hymel; and her sister, Marie Bailey.

Survivors are her children and their spouses, Barbara and Pat Rutland of Ruth, Willie Evelyn Hymel of Kenner, Linda and Jerry Emfinger of Meadville, Jimmy and Ginger Bullock of Biloxi, Brenda and Joel Wheat of McComb, Randy and Jo Ann Bullock of McComb, Sherri and Alex Boyd of Tylertown and Judy and Greg Futral of Hattiesburg; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
