Funeral Services for Mirnith Marie Bracknell of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at Liberty Baptist Church in Duncanville, Alabama, with burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Keith Lucas, Adam Lucas, Will Lucas, Duncan Bane, Patton Bane, Kenneth Guidry, Jody Long, Chris Long, James Allen and Robert Simmons. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of service at Liberty Baptist Church in Duncanville.

Mrs. Bracknell, 97, died Oct. 20, 2014, at Silver Cross Nursing Home. She was born in Duncanville, Alabama, to Quentin and Lula Doss Shuttlesworth.

She was a homemaker and she was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, George J. Bracknell; brothers, Leslie Shuttlesworth, Haywood Shuttlesworth and Charles Shuttlesworth; sisters, Mamie Bracknell and Lanell Bracknell; and sister-in-law, Adaline Shuttlesworth.

Survivors are her daughter, JoAnne Bracknell Redd of Hazlehurst; three grandchildren, Selina Redd Lucas and husband, Keith, Jennifer Redd Williams and husband, David, Adrienne Redd Guidry and husband, Kenneth; nephew, DeeWayne Burroughs; nieces, Marie Burroughs, Susan Baker, Jean Armstrong and Joelle Tolbert.
