Funeral Services for Mary Brown Bush of Brookhaven are 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.

Mrs. Bush, 86, died Nov. 9, 2014, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 29, 1928, in Jefferson County to Angus McNair Brown and Thelma Curtis Brown Stubbs.

Mrs. Bush was a member of Southway Baptist Church in Brookhaven. She was a retired employee of Southwest Electric Power Association. She worked there for 40 plus years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Jeff Higdon Bush Sr.; twin sister, Martha Buckels; her brother, A.M. “Dock” Brown; and her step-father, Robert Stubbs.

Survivors are her daughter, Becky Bennett and her husband, Leon, of Brookhaven; her son, Jeff H. Bush Jr. and his wife, Karen, of Fayette; her grandchildren, Shannon Bennett, John A. Bennett, Matt Bush, Jason Bush and his wife, Anita, Brent Bush and Vicki Bush Griffith and husband, Micah; her great-grandchildren, Gabe Bush, Reagan Bush, Baleigh Grace Griffith, Riley Beth Bush and Tucker Griffith; her sister, Nell Smith; and her brothers, Hugh M. Brown and Robert K. Stubbs.
