Funeral Services for Charles “Charlie” Allred of Bogue Chitto are 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at Jones Family Funeral Services with burial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Russell will officiate. Pallbearers will be his nephews. Jones Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Jones Family Funeral Services and will continue on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of services.

Mr. Allred, 82, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at his residence. He was born on Oct. 6, 1932, in Lincoln County to Zack and Pluma Brown Allred.

He was a retired mechanic and worked for Nunnery Tire in McComb for over 30 years. He loved collecting antiques, fixing them up and giving them to his friends and family. He was a member of Tangipahoa Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three sisters, Marie Kitchens, Alma Mae Sellers and Edna Whitehead; and one brother, Heulon Allred.

Survivors are his brother, Donald Ray Allred of Bogue Chitto; four sisters, Elaine Corkern and husband, Duel, of Greensburg, Louisiana, Carolyn Bowden and husband, John, of Brookhaven; Janella McManus and husband, David, of Summit and Bonnie Sue Wall and husband, George, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Montgomery Baptist Church.
