Memorial Services for Nelson Anding of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, from noon until time of service at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mr. Anding, 73, died Jan. 17, 2015, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 14, 1941, to Dallas and Gladys Smith Anding.

He was a 1960 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a directional driller in the oil and gas industry. He was also a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Kay Terrell.

Survivors are his wife, Joy Harlene Smith Anding; son, Jason Anding and wife, Staci; daughter, Jessica Anding and step-daughter Joy Ladd; sister, Marbeth Jordan and husband, Reuben; three grandchildren, Gray Anding, Marin Anding and Amelia Anding; his brother- in- laws, Gabe Terrell and Jim Hickman; and four nieces and one nephew.

Memorials may be made to Johnson Grove Church of Christ, BARL or the American Cancer Society.
