Funeral Services for Marjory Ellen Summers Hodges of Bogue Chitto are 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Bond, Ellis Williams, Jeff Callender, Ken Callender, Gary Hodges and Eric Stastny. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, and will resume on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, one hour prior to time of service.

Mrs. Hodges, 86, died Jan. 22, 2015, at her residence. She was born on July 1, 1928, in McComb to Willard Summers and Ruby Smith Summers.

She loved fishing, needle work and high school sporting events. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, S.M. Hodges.

Survivors are her one daughter, Dixie Miller and husband, Jim, of Bogue Chitto; one son, Michael Hodges of Houston, Texas; one sister, Colleen Callender of Brookhaven; two grandsons, Jamie (Stacey) Miller of Bogue Chitto and Johnathan Miller of Duson, Louisiana; one granddaughter, Amanda (Eric) Stastny of Belmont, Massachusetts; four great-grandchildren, Max and Kinley Miller and Jake and Justin Stastny.

The family wishes to thank Hospice Ministries for their care and caregivers, Rhonda, Beverly and Carolyn.
