SUMMIT – Southwest Mississippi Community College baseball will host a Father & Son Youth Camp this Saturday, February 28, from 10:00-3:00. The camp is open to boys ages 6-12 who are accompanied by a father figure of any age.

The cost of the camp is $25 for a father/son pair with a charge of $10 for each additional son. Lunch will be provided.

The Southwest Baseball Father & Son Youth Camp offers a unique “hands on” approach to teaching kids and parents how to improve all facets of their game. This special opportunity will include instruction on the core fundamentals of the game. Pitching, hitting, catching, infield and outfield skills will be covered thoroughly.

The ultimate goal of the camp is to provide answers and training solutions to the questions most commonly asked by today’s fathers and youth league players. Simply stated, this camp is designed to be a great bonding experience for the father and son in an enjoyable environment, learning and playing the greatest game on earth, BASEBALL!
