Funeral Services for Michael James Williams of Jamacia, New York are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at Williams Mortuary Chapel with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Williams, 58, died Feb. 19, 2015, at St. Albans, Queens, New York. He was born on Feb. 1, 1957, in Staten Island, New York to Albert Lilly Williamsand Daisy Mae Patton Williams Thompson.

He was a cross country truck driver. He was a graduate of Susan Wagner High School in Staten Island and was a certified truck mechanic from the New York Automotive and Diesel Institute. He was also honorably discharged as a U.S. Veteran.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandmother, Rosie Lee Patton Thompson Harrison; uncles, Wilfort Omar Thompson, Willie Bilbo Patton, Roscoe Patton, David Patton Sr., Clifton Thompson Sr., Alphonso Thompson and James Cameron.

Survivors are his brother, Alvin Williams of Jamacia, New York; daughters, Chiquita Williams and Tonya Williams, both of Meridian, Gabriel Harris of Johnson City, New York and Kia Williams of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Summer, Brandy, Remaliah, Tyra, Stephen and Christan; aunts, Dora Cameron and Patricia Ann Breland and husband, Williard “Head”, both of Brookhaven, Katie Sue Thompson of Bogue Chitto; uncles, Edward Daniel Patton and Essie Lee Thompson, both of Brookhaven; and a host of cousins, friends and other relatives.
