Funeral Services for Imogene “Jean” Cupit of Rosenberg, Texas are 2 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Greenlawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg.

Mrs. Cupit, 83, died Feb. 25, 2015, in Richmond, Texas. She was born on Dec. 2, 1931, in Brookhaven to Willie Smith and Irene Williamson.

She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church and the church secretary for 37 years. In that time she served under six pastors. She had a gift for counseling people, young and old. Mrs. Cupit enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. This loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend will be missed.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and sister, Pauline Dunn.

Survivors are her husband of 64 years, Felix L. Cupit; son, Steve Cupit and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Christy Cupit, Mandy Gill and husband, Cody, and Colby Cupit; great-grandchild, MaKinzie Jean Gill; nephews, David Dunn and wife, Connie, and Bruce Dunn; great nieces and nephew, Misty, Laina and Garrett Dunn; along with extended family and a host of friends.
