Visitation is Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.

Mrs. Baker, 68, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at her residence in Hattiesburg.

She was a professed Christian and enjoyed and cherished the company of Christian friends both in Hattiesburg and Brookhaven. While she accomplished numerous education degrees and achievements, her biggest smile came as she watched and encouraged her only child, Christie, to a bigger world with achievements along the way.

Survivors are her husband, Cecil L. Baker; daughter, Crystal Ann Baker of Phoenix, Arizona; her sister, Dianna Huckaby Kimble (Mike Kimble) of Loyd Star; a much cherished God child, Casey Hobbs of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; along with many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. Her family tree extends several generations into the Quinn, Huckaby and Leggett families.
