Funeral service for Mrs. Edith O.V. Britt Tutor will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with visitation starting at 9 a.m. until service time. There will be an interment service in Pontotoc.

Mrs. Tutor, 90, of Brookhaven, passed away March 19, 2015 at her residence.

She was the last remaining child of 17 children. She was born April 5, 1924 to Joe Thomas Britt and Maggie Victory Holley Britt. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Tutor; son, Harold Duane Tutor; daughter, Sylvia Lana Tutor Plunk; and 16 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by three children, Gerald Keith Tutor and wife, Brenda, Peggy White and husband, Tim, and Barbara Ann Foster; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Louise Pearson, and one niece, Brandie Saucier.
