Funeral Services for Sandra Kay “Sandy” Douglas of Wesson are 10 a.m. on Friday, March 20, at Stringer Funeral Home in Hazlehurst with burial in Wesson Cemetery. Stringer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Stringer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Douglas, 57, died March 16, 2015, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

She was a native of Columbus, Georgia. She graduated from Co-Lin. She had lived in Wesson for 38 years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Carlos O’Dale and Louise Ensor Golden; and a sister, Judy Hutcherson.

Survivors are her husband, Mark Douglas of Wesson; son, John (Bobo) Douglas (Jade) of Wesson; daughter, Amanda (Mandy) Kay Douglas (Roxanne) of Wesson; brothers, Harold Golden of Phoenix City, Alabama; Ronald Golden, Donald Golden and Danny Golden all of Columbus; sisters, Linda Hemillburger of Phoenix City, Alabama, Carol Sarafin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Patricia Layfield of Columbus; and granddaughter, Tinley Elizabeth Douglas of Wesson.
