Funeral services for Thomas Shannon Webb of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Alexander Junior High School Auditorium. Burial will follow at Watkins Chapel AME Church Cemetery in Brookhaven. Visitation is 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, March 20, at Williams Mortuary. There will be a Homecoming Jubilee Celebration at Damascus M.B. Chruch from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015. 

Mr. Webb, 36, was born Sept. 13, 1978 in Brookhaven. He died Friday, March 13, 2015 at his residence.

He was known near and far for his musical and vocal abilities. He served as minister of music and musician in various churches. He was employed with Region 8 Mental Health Center. He was currently serving as minister of music at Damascus M.B. Church, Hopewell, M.B. Church, Glory Hill C.O.G.I.C. and Mr. Wade M.B. Church Brotherhood. He was also a member of Anointed Praise Choir and the Mississippi Mass Choir. He was a 1997 graduate of Brookhaven High School.

He was preceded in death by his father, T.S. Webb.

He is survived by his mother, Willie Faye Grant Webb.
