Graveside Services for Joan Marie “Fluffy” Latham of Summit are 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Smith-dale with burial in church cemetery. Jones Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 8, 2015, from 1 until 2:45 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Tyler Cunningham, Josh Cunningham, Tucker Adams, Jimmy Latham, Landon Gartman, Cael Adams and Craig Bass.

Mrs. Latham, 56, died April 6, 2015, at Liberty Community Living Center after a lengthy illness with cancer. She was born on Aug. 5, 1958 to O.M. “Bubba” Latham and Joan Conway Latham.

Joan was a longtime accountant and high school tutor to many. She was loved by her family and many friends.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her mother; a special nephew, who was like a son, Tyler Cunningham of Smithdale; three brothers and a sister-in-law, James Latham (Lawana) of Brookhaven, John Latham of Toledo Bend, Texas and Buddy French of Monticello; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean Gartman (L.M. “Dinky”) of Brookhaven and Mary Jane Adams (Warren) of Smithdale; along with many other family, friends, nieces and nephews.
