The Brookhaven Panther netters suffered a tough 6-1 loss to Stone County in Thursday’s tennis action in Class 5A state playoff action.

Brookhaven, coached by Nancy Fisher, concludes their season in the team event with a 7-5 record.

The Panther’s will be in the State Individual Tournament at Ridgeland on May 11, as 10 players will be competing for a chance to win individual gold.
