Coach-Pitch, AAA 9-year-old All-Stars begin tournament action Friday

The Lincoln County Dixie Youth Baseball AA 7-year-old Coach-Pitch, AA Coach-Pitch and AAA 9-year-old All-Star teams begin playoff action Friday, June 26.

In the 7-year-old AA division,  the Lincoln County Nationals and Americans All-Stars will have to travel south down Interstate 55 to McComb to participate in McComb’s District Six double-elimination tournament Friday. They will be battling for their shot to go to state in Cleveland on July 10.

Joining both Lincoln County teams in the tournament is the American and Nationals McComb All-Star, the Natchez All-Stars and the Walthall All-Stars.

The 8-year-old AA Lincoln County Nationals and Americans All-Stars will be in action Friday at Keystone Park in Brookhaven as they prepare to make their run toward the State Tournament in Kosciusko.

The teams competing in the tournament are both Lincoln County teams, the Franklin County All-Stars and the Natchez All-Stars.

For the 9-year-old AAA division, the Lincoln County Nationals and Americans All-Stars prepare to travel southwest down Highway 84 to participate in Natchez’s District Six double-elimination tournament at Duncan Park, Friday. Both teams are searching for their shot at state in Mendenhall.

Other teams competing in the tournament along with both Lincoln County teams are the Natchez All-Stars, the Walthall All-Stars and the McComb American and Nationals All-Stars.

The tournament brackets on the three divisions have not been release for game times and opponent.

7-year-old Americans

7-year-old Nationals

Wilson Calcote, Brady Michael Durr, Riley Case, Dreamus Harron Jr., Walker Brady, Tristan Fortenberry, Tripp Jones, Cooper Carr, Lawson Murray, Tyler Purden, Durrell (DJ) Washington Jr., Layton Woolley. Head Coach:  Colby Calcote. Assistant Coaches:  Joseph Durr, Terry Wayne Case, Dreamus Harron Sr.

8-year-old Americans

Roland Day, Mark Hodges, Braden Livings, Taylor Livings, Taylor Myers, Mason Orr, Davin Reeves, Luke Simmons, Griffin Smith, Mason Smith, Eli Thornton, Brayden Wilson. Head Coach:  David Smith.  Assistant Coaches:  Todd Smith, Joe Williams, Ryan Day.

8-year-old Nationals
