The Lincoln County Dixie Youth Baseball AAA 10-year-old All-Star teams begin playoff action Friday in the District six double-elimination tournament at Keystone Park in Brookhaven.

The 10-year-old National and American All-Stars begin their march toward the State Tournament in Laurel July 17.

The Sub-District tournament will have the Lincoln County American and Nationals, the Franklin County All-Stars and the Natchez All-Stars fighting hard to claim the No. 1 spot to advance to the State Tournament.

The Lincoln County Americans kick off the tournament in the opener against the Natchez All-Stars at 6 p.m. and the Lincoln County Nationals battle the Franklin County All-Stars in the nightcap at 7:30 p.m. The tournament starts Friday and concludes on Tuesday with the championship contest.

Members of the Lincoln County 10-year-old All-Stars are:

Lincoln County AAA Americans: Carter Holcomb, Payne Waldrop, Brandon Welch, Jacob Rushing, Caleb Smith, Caden Yarborough, Samuel Evans, Will Loy, Easton Sartin, Gavin Leggett, Corby Husser, Hunter Goebel. Assistant Coaches:  Jeremy Loy, Corey Welch. Head Coach:  Sammy Holcomb.

Lincoln County AAA Nationals: Riley Easterling, Logan Case, Peyton Prather, Trenton Traver, Brody Ezell, Landon Burgess, Trevor Smith, J.T. Smith, Brantley Day, Connor Martin, Logan Bardwell, Peyton Reed. Assistant Coaches:  Shane Easterling, Chris Reed. Head Coach:  Ryan Case.
