The winner of the tournament will advance to the World Series in Hattiesburg on July 21.

Community support from McCall Creek to Roxie has helped the young 9-year-olds. The team is solid from top to bottom with a combination of size, power, and speed in the lineup.

Franklin County won the district tournament in Natchez two weeks ago to earn the rights to the State Tournament. Franklin County beat McComb in the finals. The team went 3-0 in the tournament.
