A graveside service for Mary Jean Prinz Smith will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2015 at Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be at Riverwood Family Funeral Service on Friday, Aug. 21, from 10 until 11 a.m.

Mrs. Smith died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015 in Brookhaven, where she lived for 23 years. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 19, 1927, and she remained a Kentuckian at heart until her death.

She was an active member of the Methodist church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Abram Barnes Archer III.

Survivors are her two daughters and their husbands, Barbara Archer Davis and Thomas Davis of Lakeland, Florida and Wendy Archer Phillips and Danny Phillips of Corinth; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In memory of Mrs. Smith, donations can be made to the Brookhaven Animal Rescue League.
