Local weather stats

The Wastewater Treatment Facility in Brookhaven reported a high of 92 degrees for Monday and a low of 66. The temperature at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday was 69 degrees. There was no precipitation.

 

River Stages

On Monday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 17.1, down 0.2 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 24.6, down 0.3 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson, where the flood stage is 12 feet, was no reported in the past 24 hours.

Highway Patrol Reports

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a vehicular accident at approximately 4:38 a.m. off the interstate at Exit 42. No injuries were reported. MHP also responded to a vehicular accident at approximately 11 a.m. Monday morning on 51 North. The accident involved two vehicles and injuries have been reported.

 

King’s Daughters Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 11 calls Monday; two were transfers, with one to the city and one to Jackson. There were nine emergency calls, with six medical, five in the city and one in the county. There were three motor vehicle accidents in the county.
