Memorial services for Patsy Wells Rogers are Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans. Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rogers, 81, died on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015.

Patsy was a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi, where she was a cheerleader and a member and officer of Delta Delta Delta. She taught fifth grade for over 40 years. She will be remembered for her love of education, music and animals.

She was a loving wife for 58 years to Alex E. Rogers; a beloved mother of Stephen “Al” Rogers, Shelley Schenker (William) and Laurie Carlton (John); and grandmother of Jack Rogers, Gabriel Schenker and Luke Carlton. She is also survived by Lee Ann Betbeze.
