• Meghan Hux, 10-11-90, of Industrial Park Road, Brookhaven — arrested for probation violation by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

• Donna P. McNeal, 12-08-75, of 152 Old Highway 27 South, Monticello — arrested for felonious bad check by LCSO.

• Rashad J. Smith, 05-14-85, of 1539 Crump Lane, Brookhaven — arrested for contempt of justice court and hold for investigations by LCSO.

• Rakeidrick Young, 06-11-92, of 118 Jordan St., Crystal Springs — arrested for embezzlement by Brookhaven Police Department.

• Terrance L. Fields, 04-08-74, of 2133 US Highway 51 Apt. No. C-7, Wesson — arrested for failure to yield, careless driving, no proof of liable insurance and driving with a suspended license by BPD.

• Samuel Jones, 09-29-87, of 101 East Columbia Avenue, Detroit, Michigan — arrested for probation violation by LCSO.

• Guy Williams, 12-04-76, of 933 Bryant, Brookhaven — arrested for possession of a controlled substance, public drunk, disorderly conduct/breach of peace, resisting arrest and disturbing the peace by BPD.

The Wastewater Treatment Facility in Brookhaven reported a high of 81 degrees for Tuesday and a low of 70. The temperature at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday was 70 degrees. There was no precipitation.

 

River Stages

On Tuesday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 10.0, down 0.2 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 17.4, down 0.4 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson, where the flood stage is 12 feet, was 4.6, down 0.0 feet in the past 24 hours.

 

Copiah County Reports 

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported to one medical call Tuesday on 8th Street. Firefighters responded around 11:52 a.m. and cleared the scene at 12:35 p.m.

 

King’s Daughters Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 12 calls Tuesday; nine were transfers, with two in the city, one to Ochsner’s, five to Jackson and one to Southwest. There were three emergency calls all three medical, one in the city and two in the county.
