Funeral services for Lennie Lenora Smith Freeman are Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home chapel with burial in Roseland Park Cemetery. Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Freeman, 95, of Hattiesburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015.

She was a registered nurse, having trained and worked at King’s Daughters Hospital in Brookhaven and worked at Methodist Hospital in Hattiesburg. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Johnson Freeman; a grandson, Joshua Fortenberry; a brother, Glenn Smith; and a sister, Dixie Miller.

She is survived by her children, Johnny Freeman of Harriman, Tennessee and Beverley Fortenberry (Don) of Fulton; her grandchildren, Stephanie Freeman Ogan (Drew) and Payne Freeman, both of Knoxville, Tennessee; Parker Freeman of Kingston, Tennessee; Rebecca Fortenberry and Matthew Fortenberry (Kari), both of Fulton; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Nova Fortenberry; a step-great-grandson, Zackary Ogan; a sister, Lorelle Thompson of Meridian; and a family friend, Kim Mason.
