Funeral services for Joyce Nell McGraw Price Weaver will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at Riverwood.1006Joyce Weaver

Mrs. Weaver, 82, of Bogue Chitto, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015. She was born Dec. 21, 1932, to Marvin L. McGraw and Ruby Lea Burns McGraw.

She was department manager at Sebrook Decorating Center in Jackson and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Weaver was famous for her “Nanny’s Sour Cream Pound Cake”, she loved to crochet, work in her flower garden and travel.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Price and Elmo Weaver; parents; brother, M.L. McGraw Jr.; and best friend/sister of 50 years, Mona McKeith.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Price and wife, Cindy, Norman Price and wife, Susie, all of Brandon; Viola Lea Wilson and husband, Royce, of Bogue Chitto; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Weaver of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Elisha Ward and husband, Jimmy, Jeff Price and wife, Anna, Kimberly Price Alford and husband, Davis, Sarah Price and John Price, Ken Weaver and wife, Amy and Derrick Weaver and wife, Carrie; seven great-grandchildren, Eden Ward, Connor Ward, Sophie Ward, Caroline Price and Luke Price, Jackson Weaver and Jenna Weaver.
