Funeral services for Ethel Norman Smith will be Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial in Stewart Cemetery in Bogue Chitto. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, from 12 p.m. until the time of services.

Mrs. Smith, 92, of Bogue Chitto died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Brookhaven. She was born on Jan. 14, 1923 in Bogue Chitto to Tommie and Evelyn Stewart Norman.

She was a member of Cold Spring Church of Christ in Bogue Chitto. She was a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cleveland Smith; an infant daughter, Norma Dean Smith; brother John Norman; and sister Opal Norman.

Survivors are her son, Wade Smith and wife, Teresa; daughters, Betty Martin and husband, Phillip, Sally Smith, Jane Gill and husband, Jerry, and Dale Allred and husband, Keith; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her special friend and roommate at Golden Living Center, Mary Jackson.
