One man is in intensive care after losing control of his ATV and crashing into a home on Ellis Road.

The Brookhaven Police Department received a call at 7:07 p.m. Wednedsay that Isiah Allen, 57, had crashed into a home at 2421 Ellis Road. BPD Chief Bobby Bell said it appeared Allen had lost control of the vehicle.

Allen, of 2457 Grant Road, was transported to Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst and then airlifted to Jackson. As of Thursday morning, Allen was in ICU in Jackson.

Bell said it is unknown if Allen was intoxicated at the time of the accident as he was out of it after the crash and taken directly to Hardy Wilson to be airlifted.
