Arrests

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Thursday was as follows:

• Andergia L. Nunley, 01-05-79, of 2387 SW Dandelion Lane, Bogue Chitto — arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Note: An arrest does not constitute guilt for the accused. All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 

Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department reported an electrical short on East Independence Street with no fire on Friday. They left the station at 4:26 p.m. and returned at 4:55 p.m.  Saturday morning at 10:45 a.m. there was a false alarm at Holiday Inn Express.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

The Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reported a one vehicle accident with minor injuries south of Douglas Trail on Hwy. 583 at 12:02 a.m. Saturday and also a one vehicle accident with no injuries on I-55 NB between exit 38 and 40 at 11:33 a.m.

 

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Ambulance Service reported 33 calls for Friday and Saturday; with six transfers, three to Jackson, one in the city, one to Franklin County and one to Pike County. There were 26 emergencies, 15 medical, 12 in the city and three in the county; four traumas, two in the city and two in the county; seven motor vehicle accidents, with four in the city and three in the county and one standby in the city.
