Dr. and Mrs. Steve Mills, of Bogue Chitto, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Beth Mills, of Ridgeland, to Adam Landon Walker.

He is the son of Andy and Debbie Walker, of Carthage.

She is the granddaughter of Jane Mills of Destin, Florida and Dr. Janis Tutor and Dr. Forrest Tutor.

He is the grandson of Herman and Dorothy Mooney of Carthage and Rev. Robert and Elizabeth Walker of Booneville.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and a 2012 graduate of Mississippi State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in educational psychology with an emphasis in counseling in 2012. She also received a master’s degree in marriage and family counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Clinton in 2014. She is currently employed as the female primary counselor at Harbor House Chemical Dependency Services.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Edinburg High School and a 2010 graduate of Mississippi State University where he received a bachelor of science. He graduated from Hillsong Leadership College in 2011. He is currently employed with Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson as a worship pastor.

The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at The South Warehouse in Jackson. A reception will immediately follow.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
