Arrests

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Monday was as follows:

 

• Frederick Flowers, 12-30-81, of Northhaven Apartments, Apt. # 16-D, Brookhaven — arrested for public drunk, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia by Brookhaven Police Department.

• Christopher F. Gerald, 06-24-87, of 992 Greenview Trail, Brookhaven — arrested for sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy by BPD.

• Joshua B. Giles, 12-26-82, of 24 Mingos Road, Vicksburg — arrested for conspiracy by BPD.

• Antonio Thomas, 10-18-64, of 1216 Gleason Loop Apt. #28, Brookhaven — arrested for serving time by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

River stages

On Tuesday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 11.7, down 0.8 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 19.4, down 0.5 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson, where the flood stage is 12 feet, was 4.0, down 0.0 feet in the past 24 hours.

 

Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department reported to a burn pile of trees reigniting on Highway 84 West Tuesday. Firefighters responded at 3:30 p.m. and returned to the station around 4:15 p.m.

 

King’s Daughters
Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 19 calls Tuesday; eight were transfers, with one to the city, one to Southwest, one to Copiah County, one to Hattiesburg and four to Jackson. There were 11 emergency calls, with nine medical, two in the city and seven in the county. There were two traumas one in the city and one in the county.
